What a business website has to get right
Weight before beauty. Images are resized and compressed before they ship, fonts are served from the site rather than a third party, and scripts that only decorate are left out. The page opens instead of spinning, which is the whole game on mobile data.
One obvious next step per page. Sites in this market routinely bury the phone number and hide the enquiry form behind a menu. Each page here has a single clear action, repeated at the point a reader is most likely to be ready for it.
Structure a search engine can read: headings in order, one h1 per page, links that describe where they go, structured data for the business and its services, and a sitemap that stays current. None of that is visible to a visitor and all of it decides whether the page can rank at all.

A template is fine if the business is simple and nobody you compete with is trying very hard. Custom earns its money when speed, search and the shape of your enquiry process matter, because a template carries the code for every feature it supports, not just the ones you use.
Can you redesign the site I already have?
Often, yes. If it sits on a platform that can be made fast, fixing it costs less than starting again, and I will tell you which of the two applies before you commit to anything.

Yes. The domain is registered in your name, the hosting account is yours, and every login is handed over at launch.
Will I be able to update it myself?
